Developmental Specialist: 

G.R.I.T. Calgary Society is currently accepting resumes for Developmental Specialists.

Part-Time and Full-Time positions are available. 

The Developmental Specialist supports preschool aged children with disabilities and their family in their home, preschool and community. The Developmental Specialists works with the child's multidisciplinary team to provide the best suited individual program plan for the child

Program Hours: These hours are based on the program that is set up for the child.  Programming typically occurs Monday to Friday during an AM or PM program. G.R.I.T. Calgary follows the Calgary Board of Education calendar for holiday schedules. 

Qualifications:  Early Childhood Education, Community Disability Studies, Psychology, Education, Rehabilitation,Therapy Assistant.

Individuals with alternate education and have experience working with children will be considered. 

All Developmental Specialist  must be able to drive and have a valid driver's license and a car in good working order. DS’s will be required to obtain a Driver's Abstract, Child First AId/CPR, Child Welfare and Criminal Record checks.
